About Burn Ban Florida
Burn Ban Florida (burnbanflorida.com) is an independent, free informational service that publishes the current outdoor burn ban status for all 67 Florida counties, updated every day from the Florida Forest Service dataset.
What we do
- Republish the Florida Forest Service county burn ban dataset daily, with a dedicated page for every county.
- Show each county's status alongside its neighbours, with the date the data was last checked, on every page.
- Track status-change history over time and offer free email alerts when a county's status changes.
- Explain the rules — what burn bans are and Florida outdoor burning rules.
What we are not
We are not a government agency and have no affiliation with Florida Forest Service, Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services, or any county. Burn ban orders are issued and lifted by board of county commissionerss, sometimes faster than statewide data updates. Always verify with your county fire marshal, sheriff's office, or county office before burning. See our full disclaimer.
Publisher
Burn Ban Florida is published by Breckenridge CoLab LLC, which also operates Burn Ban Texas. We build daily-updated public-data sites that answer one question clearly.
